To be fair, I think Nokia screwed a lot on that platform. [1] But you can use it with your fingers, like the N800 and N810[2], even though the UI itself is very confused.<br>

But from the hackability (software or hardware) point of view it still ahead of most the other device on the market. So it is worth mentioning. I wouldn't recommend the N900 to a regular person otherwise.<div class="im">

[1] I have a N770 and N800. Never got the N810 because Nokia didn't want to sell it to Canadians thru the developer program.<br>
