I wonder where he got the idea that VHS has different goals than what he is planning?<br><br>Anyway, the more I hear about this guy, the more of a pompous ass he sounds. Given the fact that other than the Tor talk, which was the same talk as what was at OpenWeb, the conference was full of Social Marketing stuff, and not very much technical content outside of what these people do, I don't think we have too much to worry about. I'd worry about him if he actually interferes with VHS, right now he's just a douchebag trying to talk big without anything to back it up. This sounds like the exact reason why I don't go to BarCamp, and why I bashed it in my BazCamp post.<br>

<br>I asked him on Twitter why he didn't mention VHS in his post. He said "<span title="processed"><span>Oversight on my part. Will correct. I don't want to leave VHS out of the convo. They're a great little org.". He said he has met with VHS folks. He said to someone else on Twitter that VHS has "different goals". I'm interested in how his goals are different as he hasn't specifiied this. My guess is his goal may be a for-profit hackspace (seeing as he's looking to invest his father's money in it).<br>
