[Vanhackspace] need low-cost SD cards (at least 64 MB)

Hello World,

Does anyone know of a source (local or otherwise) of low-cost full-size
SD cards? My employer uses SD cards to store software images for our
embedded ARM Linux computers. These images fit on a 64 MB SD card, so
it is wasteful to buy new 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, or whichever capacity is
the lowest-priced cards we can find because we are paying for so much
more than we need. Months ago, I found 64 MB generic SD cards sold as
lots of 10 on eBay. They cost about 3 USD per card and included free
shipping from Hong Kong to Canada. I should have bought more because
they are no longer unavailable. :( I did not buy more because I thought
I could buy more as needed, especially since the shipping is free.
Searching for SD cards on eBay is very annoying because eBay has at
least 3 categories for SD cards even though they are all the same
product, so I have to search separately in each category, then sort by
price + shipping, then use a pile of exclusions search terms to exclude
all the USB card readers and micro/miniSD→full-size SD card adapters
because these non-SD card items are in the same category as the SD
cards. (fail) Anyway, I think I may be better off trying to get quotes
on low-capacity (let’s say <= 256 MB) SD cards from a specialised flash
memory (card) supplier.

I should probably note I live and work in Delta, not Vancouver, but
Delta is still part of Metro Vancouver.

I think this is my first post to this mailing list. :) I have been
subscribed for months, though, and have visited VHS once last year.

See you at SHHH #8!

Thanks,
Brolin

PS: I almost forgot to mention I have already posted want ads on eBay
and the Vancouver Craigslist weeks ago, but have not yet received any
replies. I could still try posting on Kijiji.
