[Vanhackspace] R statistical software

Hello,
I only recently joined this list, I still have to checkout the space.
But I'm in bioinformatics and our lab uses R all the time. I don't
mind it myself but sometimes I end up using custom java code to do
things. From the other direction some of our code uses Rserve to call
R from a program.
Some things can be a bit annoying, like to make a graph and save to a
png image you do -
png("filename")
plot(...)
dev.off()
Usually you can find what you are looking for on google. Also the R
chart gallery shows what can be done -

Hope that helps,
-Leon
