[Vanhackspace] Oxy/Acetylene Rig.

I'll be out of town until late July but should be good after that. For
plasma we would need about 240 volts/50 amps single phase, less with
higher voltages or 3 phase. It makes much smoke and air born dust. I have
a few #5 shades but if anyone has OA shades (#3 or #4) that they can bring
these are good enough for watching what is going on. I can bring some
metal to chew up but if you have something that you want to try bring it
along. Up to 1/2" steel should be no problem with that power. If more
power is available the machine can do up to 1". Thin templates out of
wood can be used as a guide. Templates should be .08" ( 80 thou) smaller
than the finished dimensions that you want. Is there a good fire
extinguisher there? If not I will bring one. I'll bring some gouging tips
and fine cut tips too.
