Hey I'm new to this list, and have yet to get out to VHS, but just 
wanted to say Hi, and hope I can get out sometime soon.

After reading your site, and listening to some of the discussion, I was 
wondering if anyone might know of a location where you can rent time in 
a woodworking shop, or rent space cheaply to do this, or if VHS might 
consider (if you are looking for a space) adding a second separate area 
at VHS for woodworking DIY projects.  I used to live in Toronto and you 
could rent storage units with Hydro hookups that were perfect for this 
sort of thing (or small scale mill shops), but have been looking for 
years here in Vancouver and the lower mainland, and haven't found anything.

Anyone know of anything similar, in the area?

Or would anyone also be interested in this type of thing?
