[Vanhackspace] Basic Silversmithing Night. Anyone interested?

  I'm moving out, and I have a collection of jeweller's tools.  If 
anyone's interested in learning basic jewellery making skills, I may be 
able to teach 1 person at a time sometime in August (probably mid to 
late august).  I work at a jeweller's supply shop in North Van (Capilano 
Rock & Gem, which is the biggest jeweller's supply in western Canada)  
I've never taught before, but I'd like to give it a try.  Cost of 
materials would be around $15 or so, depending on the amount of silver 
used.  I only have enough tools for 1 or 2 people to use at a time.  I 
will work on a teaching outline if people are interested, but I won't be 
able to teach until a few weeks from now at the earliest.  The project 
will likely be a ring, and you'll learn some basic techniques of making 
jewellery: Sawing, filing, hammering, soldering, and polishing, among 
others.  Let me know if you're interested
