I'm moving out, and I have a collection of jeweller's tools. If
anyone's interested in learning basic jewellery making skills, I may be
able to teach 1 person at a time sometime in August (probably mid to
late august). I work at a jeweller's supply shop in North Van (Capilano
Rock & Gem, which is the biggest jeweller's supply in western Canada)
I've never taught before, but I'd like to give it a try. Cost of
materials would be around $15 or so, depending on the amount of silver
used. I only have enough tools for 1 or 2 people to use at a time. I
will work on a teaching outline if people are interested, but I won't be
able to teach until a few weeks from now at the earliest. The project
will likely be a ring, and you'll learn some basic techniques of making
jewellery: Sawing, filing, hammering, soldering, and polishing, among
others. Let me know if you're interested
