Perhaps they are planning to spin it like this:  http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2009-09-28-securing-internet_N.htm

Paraphrase: "Hackers jeopardizing the safety of the internet, a system we all depend on for more than just finances and business" (etc) and "Should the government take over the internet during a hacking crisis?  How dangerous are these 'hackers'?" ...that sort of spin.

Be careful... they are master editors.  Ask those who've dealt with them before.  They have a reputation for spins (don't they all).

Also note, they are not nearly as important as your existing readers (and associates) on the global (and local) internet as "29% of the public trusts the media" (ouch!  Yes, only 29%... TV and newspapers are dead)  http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/14/business/media/14survey.html?_r=2

Why play their game?  Beat them using your OWN.  Just my two-links worth.
