[Vanhackspace] "Vancouver needs a world-class hacker lab"

The guy who posted on Hacker News about Vancouver needing a hack space was
at Barcamp and is trying to recruit:

I asked him on Twitter why he didn't mention VHS in his post. He said
"Oversight
on my part. Will correct. I don't want to leave VHS out of the convo.
They're a great little org.". He said he has met with VHS folks. He said to
someone else on Twitter that VHS has "different goals". I'm interested in
how his goals are different as he hasn't specifiied this. My guess is his
goal may be a for-profit hackspace (seeing as he's looking to invest his
father's money in it).

Anyways, just some random intel...
