[Vanhackspace] Automatic Pet Feeder with Timer

What type of pet? and what type of food?
Does the food require refrigeration once opened?

Assuming you are using dry food, one option would be a round bowl with
compartments covered by a lid with an opening. The lid would rotate
exposing one compartment at a time. Could be done with an Arduino and
a stepper motor.

Not aware of any kits, but I've seen (overpriced) models in things
like Sharper Image.

Of course, if your pet can regulate its eating, the low-tech solution
would be a feeder with a hopper, available at any pet store.

(Just looked up tardis on Wikipedia... wow.)
