[Vanhackspace] Soldering Iron deals

Hey everybody. Just wanted to point out that Active electronics has
most of their Weller soldering irons and stations from now until the
end of December. This is a great chance to upgrade your old iron or to
get your first one and take the plunge. The WLC100 at $50 is a great
deal and perfect for any hobbyist. If you want to spend a bit more you
can get the WES51, which is the favourite of some of our members. They
have it on sale for $109 in the flyer, which is 10 bucks cheaper than
they advertise it on the website. I have included a scan of the Active
flyer. Their website is www.active123.com and they are at 1st and
Boundary. I am not associated with Active at all and this is not an
endorsement, but I thought people might want to know about this. To be
perfectly honest, I usually try to avoid Active because they tend to
be a bit more expensive than Lee's or RP Electronics. Sorry about the
quality of the scan, my work has this fancy multifunction monster, but
it doesn't scan colour.
