[Vanhackspace] Automatic Pet Feeder with Timer

Hi all,

I'm curious as to how I would build an automatic pet feeder to allow us to
released food for pet whilst at work in the day.
Anybody aware of any kits that would be suitable for this?  Ideally I'm
looking to build something fairly cheap, that doesn't
look like a tardis, any help would be appreciated.
