[Vanhackspace] VHS Upcoming Events and TV-B-Gone Event Notice (Change of Date)

Hey All,

Here is a list of upcoming events at VHS. PLEASE NOTE: the TV-B-Gone Kit
night has been pushed to December 1st. Sign-up will take place later this
week. This Tuesday, we will be learning the basics of building a DIY Arduino
for cheap. Need to put an Arduino in a project, but don't want to lose your
$40 board? Learn to make one from scratch! All parts can be purchased
locally if you wish to participate in building your own. (Parts List Below)
Feel free to come out and watch or join in the building.

November

- Tuesday, November 24th - DIY Arduinos
    Basics of building a bare bones Arduino from scratch!

- Thursday, November 26th - Open Hack Night
    Bring your Hardware and Software projects down to work on and show off

December

- Tuesday, December 1st - Kit Night: TV-B-Gones!
    Come and build your very own TV-B-Gone! We will have many kits
available,
    instruction, examples and tools!

- Thursday, December 3rd - Console Hack Night
    Bring your favourite consoles (portables welcome too) and embark on
    repair or modification!

To build a DIY Arduino,  you will need;

PC Strip Board or Breadboard
Atmega 168 or 328 (@Lees) - $6.50
1x 7805 Voltage Regulator
2x  10uF Electrolytic Capacitors
1x 16Hrz Crystal
1x 1k Resistors
Solid Core Wire
