Thanks for the info, I finally after a full day of driving around vangroovy,  I found the ideal set up at the Home Depot on cambie, Yahooooooo.  Already made 2'x2' light box.

You might find that a junked LCD TV would be suitable - often the
backlight for the LCD is perfectly fine even if the display is cracked.



Also the BC government regularly auctions stuff (ranging from trucks to laptops, tools to tables) - a light box may turn up.
