[Vanhackspace] VHS - GameJam Software Night, Thursday 12 December

The next Global GameJam [1] starts on January 29, 2010.  The Global GameJam is
an event where small teams of programmers/artists/musicians collaborate to make
a game over a weekend.

We're looking to form a team or two and possibly host an event.

There will be a broad theme for entries to follow.  Last year's was 'As long as
we have each other we will never run out of problems'.  It's then up to the
individual teams to interpret the theme and produce something interactive by
the end.

This Thursday I'll present an overview of the event and a selection of entries
from last year's GameJam.  The diversity of submissions may challenge your idea
of what a "game" is.

If you're interested or think you can contribute some cool code/art/music for a
project then come on down!  For those that are keen but can't make it on
Thursday, please get in touch by email or IRC.
