Thanks for the soldering workshop!

I should have written down the list of electronics places in
Vancouver. I remember someone mentioning Lee's on Main and RP
Electronics near Brentwood Mall (was that the correct one?).

Would someone be so kind as to post a list of local stores on the
wiki? (and online stores, if there are good ones that ship to Canada)

Also, any recommendations on a good entry-level soldering station? I
poked around online and it looks like Weller WLC100, Weller WES50/51,
and Hakko 936 are the best options. For doing simple stuff, do you
think a fixed-temp iron such as the Weller WP35 would be good enough?
Or would you recommend going for a real variable-temp station?
