If anyone has setup a SILC server before please contact me privately.

I'm happy with people using SILC more. Which network are we doing silc on?

I like this idea and think we should do it.

What do people think of using SILC for this? IRC is more accessible,
but SILC allows authentication and privacy, which can be good when we're
talking about money and memberships and such.

Also, I'd suggest that we have a floating date for these meetings. Not
everyone can make our Tuesday hack nights, and other people won't be
able to make infrastructure meetings either if they're on a particular
day of the week. We could do something like "every date that ends with
8" and meet on the 8th, 18th, and 28th of each month.
