[Vanhackspace] Internet service at space

I've tentatively signed us up for Internet service with TekSavvy.
Reasons for choosing them: (1) they're cheaper than Telus and about the
same as Shaw for equivalent levels of service, (2) they're not Telus,
(3) they are reasonably decent on issues like net neutrality. We're
signed up for the following plan:

http://teksavvy.com/en/bc_busdrydsl.asp?ID=2&mID=1

Speed: up to 6M/1M
Bandwidth: 200G/month
Cost: $59 + $12.66 band rate + $4 for 1 static IP
Activation fee: $69
Total after-tax cost for activation and first month: $162.02

I told them we would supply our own modem. If we can't arrange to get
one, they can ship us one in 3 business days. Does someone want to
volunteer to supply us with one?

Assuming we want to go ahead with this, it should be activated on
Thursday July 2nd (a week from tomorrow).

If anyone has any objections or wants to suggest any changes, please say
so. There's no problem with altering the details or canceling between
now and July 2nd.

Jeff
