Hey All,

Just a shout to let everyone know that we will be holding our meetings at
EatART space starting this Tuesday. For anyone who hasn't been, please come
on down and check it out. This will be the new location for the coming
months; lots of table space, easy access from the sky-train and best of all
for summer, a BBQ.
There will be a brief introduction to Xbee chips, a cheap (<$30 CND) and
powerful wireless chip which allows you to connect devices up to a mile
apart. We will be configuring a basic serial connection between two arduinos
and how to avoid the "gotcha's" in getting started.  As well, there will be
some open project hacking; so bring your hacks out and make some progress.

Old and new members are strongly encouraged to attend, as there will
be informal introductions and discussion. We will be brainstorming how to
make Vancouver's Hackspace a great resource for everyone interested in
getting involved.
Our new home is a few blocks from the VCC sky-station. We will be BBQing and
as always BYOB(and M, for meat or meat substitute).
