[Vanhackspace] Tuesday Night: Report back from MakerFaire

Hey folks

I'm back with tales and pictures from the World's Largest DIY Faire.  
I'll be bringing in the projector to do a quick slideshow of all the 
stuff I saw.  Also, tomorrow night will be a Show and Tell night, since 
we haven't done that in a while. I'll talk about the good (Giant Robot 
Arms, Submersible Robots, Noisebridge, etc), the Bad (Sunburns, Jerks) 
and the ugly (Crazy Mofo chasing after a homeless guy with a Crowbar).

Yes, should be a fun time had by all.  Also, on the agenda we have:

1. Spaaaaccceeee... (We need to get one, let's get back on this)
2. Open Web Vancouver
  - Presentation
  - Jake from NoiseBridge is in town
3. Fundraising/Recruiting
4. LAZZOR!!!


It should be noted that the Heliomatrix guys were at Makerfaire and that 
Joel and Mike hung out at Noisebridge until 3:40 AM.  The more people 
who know how awesome hackerspaces can be, the more people will know what 
the vision is, and the sooner we'll get there (and pass the cringe test).

But yeah, I just realized that I have plans on Thursday (I have to 
mindmeld with Luke), so perhaps we should start the SPAACCEEE Committee 
meetings next week. :)
