Hello from Vietnam,

Great to hear about this potential new space. I just have a few questions.
Joe, can you find out about the power in the space, would it be 3 phase?
Also, just to be sure, it is at ground level, correct? I am familiar with
the neighborhood, can you tell me where it is in terms of what is beside it
or across from it?

I strongly agree with Luke that we should only consider taking over the 6
month lease, as opposed to a new 1 year lease. This limits our risk and
liability, something we need to have further serious conversations about.
Adding to that, I strongly advise against rushing into this. If the landlord
was able to rent the space for more, or the tenant had people beating down
his door for the space, then it would not currently be used as storage.
I think we need to be unanimous in our decision to for which space we
choose, so that if something goes wrong, everyone will help bear the burden
of fulfilling our obligations. Personally, my experience is that its rarely
a good idea to jump into such things.

I think we also need to consider where we will find the money for
renovations and such once the space is purchased. We don't want an empty
warehouse for 2 months while we try to find this money. That will take some
scratch we just don't have at this point.

All this being said, I trust Joe/Jeff's decsision making an experience with
these matters, and that this is indeed a very viable space we should
seriously consider. I hope to contribute a lot to whatever new space we
find, as I am sure many others intend to aswell. But I ask that we have a
definate commitment from everyone paying for private space and the
membership dues paid for the next 6 months from all members OK'ing the space
(requiring more members to physically veiw the space). This will put our
finances in very real perspective, and that should guide our decison on when
we are suited to enter into a rental agreement.
