The third option I listed means that as long as you can make the
mental switch to qwerty easily enough, nav/commands will be the same
across platforms, and you'll have instant - and not terribly dangerous
- feedback if you're inserting while mentally (or spinally/muscularly?
I wonder whether the spine gets commands akin to "left index to j four
times" vs. "four characters back") using the wrong keymap.
