When I switched to dvorak, I had to make a choice:

A) re-map vim so that my muscle memory would continue to "just work"
B) re-learn vim with dvorak keys

ISTM that A is a huge rathole, cause every new box you SSH to needs your
custom config, and then you can't share your vim with anyone.  So while B
was more work, it's a net win.  It was tough for about a week of full-time
work, but now it's wonderful.
