[Vanhackspace] September 30th Meeting Tonight and an appeal for more members

Hey

I thought that I would send out a quick reminder about the meeting
tonight.  Tonight's meeting is another OLPC night, with some hardware
and software things thrown together.  In addition to that, this is the
last meeting of the month, which means that if you haven't paid your
October membership fee, it's due this meeting.  Membership at VHS is
important, since it allows us to get money to pay for the space and to
add additional infrastructure to the space, such as lockers, tools and
security so that we can have events at the space.

Currently the fee is at $50 per person.  We currently have 12 people who
are paid members of VHS, and we have 45 people who are subscribed to the
list.  If you support the concept of a Vancouver Hackerspace, and you
want to help out with the day to day, consider becoming a paid member. 
The fee won't always be $50, but currently that's what was needed to get
this place started up.  We can make exceptions in certain circumstances,
but these need to be brought up at a meeting.

With paid membership, you will get:
 - 24 Hour Access to the Space (Once we get the security system setup,
right now it's on an as-needed appointment basis)
 - The ability to store equipment in a storage locker(We are on the hunt
for more lockers)
 - Access to the common tools of the Hackerspace
