Cool - yeah, if I can get my laptop working I'll come by. I might try
and borrow an arduino, too. Thanks again for your explanations that
day.

I competed with one of the Vancouver junkyard wars teams about a month
ago; the goal this year was to make a junk orchestra. Our machine
ended up being arduino driven (we were allowed $100 of new equipment,
$70 of which was two arduinos).

performance. Unfortunately one of the guys on our team was all over
the software side, and since he seemed pretty confident I worked on
putting things together and tuning and such, and didn't go over the
sw... last-minute, we had all kinds of communications problems and
even a couple of mismapped outputs (which are pretty easy to spot in
that video), and I was kicking myself for not getting into the coding.
But yeah, even the propane-driven kickdrum was arduino-controlled. Not
quite as precise as flipping io to make square waves, though. *grin*
