[Vanhackspace] VanHackSpace - Status Update and Aug 20 Meeting

Hey Everyone

Last weekend, we checked out the proposed space on Victoria and Franklin,
and it looks like it's a great hackerspace.  It has cool neighbours, and it
should be useful for our purposes once we get the lockers.  I've also added
a fair number of people from Nitobi who are also interested in the
hackerspace on the list.

Earlier on, we saw pictures of Emma's Hackery, which is the space we're
currently looking at renting use of.  For us to cover the month-to-month
operations, we need to get 10 people who are willing to throw down the $50
for Rent( $350/month) and Materials (Money to get Lockers, Tools, Poster
Board, etc).

So, we should have a meeting on the 20th to talk about the following:

1. Are we going to take the leap?
2. What is our rad name?
3. Wiki and XMPP Server
4. Opening Party?

We should also meet way more often.  Apparently we should meet on Tuesdays
according on this pattern.
